Alfalfa Extract is produced from the “heart” of fresh young Alfalfa plants, naturally rich in proteins & grown in Northeastern France. Processed immediately, the rapid drying process preserves the nutrients & reduces solubility of protein, which in turn improves protein utilisation & increases the effectiveness of the product. The luxurious colour is also enhanced leading to increased consumption. 62.5 tons of fresh Alfalfa produces 1 ton of extract.

Alfalfa Extract is a natural concentrate that provides a rich protein-lipid complex containing a broad spectrum of natural active ingredients, rich in protein, amino acids, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals & nutrients. Among plant complexes this extract is one of the richest in proteins & is an exceptional source of natural pigments.

Alfalfa in its concentrated crumb form is a safe natural feedstuff high in carotenoids, flavenoids, antioxidants, phyto-nutrients, vitamins & minerals. Rich in omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. GM free & fully traceable from harvesting through to the finished product.

Colour/Pigmentation - Due to the high Xanthophyll content in Alfalfa eggs have deeper coloured yolks, feathers, hair, skin & scales have improved colour & condition. The skin & fat in broilers is more yellow.

Reduced cholesterol – Used in the diet of meat birds, cholesterol level in meat is reduced making it healthier for the consumer

Rich in available minerals – An excellent source of Calcium (shell quality), Phosphorous, vitamin D & vitamin A. The high level of Calcium offsets the negative Ca:P ratio of many grains including corn, soy, barley & wheat. Calcium is necessary to reduce the hens reliance on her medullary bone reserves for eggshell deposition.

High in fibre – A bulkier feed & therefore makes a good addition to the diets of broiler breeders or other birds who may otherwise be restricted. Aids digestion.

Fertility – Improves fertility, breeding, hatch rate & vitality of offspring.
