Apple Cyder Vinegar (ACV) is a well-known food supplement, water purifier and natural antibiotic made of whole sweet apples, rich in minerals and trace elements. ACV is considered natures perfect supplement.

Our ACV is non-pasteurised so it is literally alive, it contains all the natural goodness and beneficial active enzymes.

Frequently asked questions

  1. What is the nature of the mother? – Unpasteurised Apple Cyder Vinegar contains natural beneficial active enzymes. “Mother” forms naturally from these enzymes, pectin and apple residues, creating molecules of protein connected in strand like chains. If left undisturbed, as the ACV ages this may become visible to the naked eye as a delicate cobweb like substance.
  2. Since the ACV is unpasteurised is it protected from E.coli? – ACV does not carry the E.coli bacteria due to the acidity.
  3. Does it need to be refrigerated? – No but we advise it is stored in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
  4. Is it safe to be given during pregnancy ? – Yes.
  5. Is it possible to take too much? – There is no clear limit on how much an individual can or should take.
  6. Is this ACV suitable for animal use? – Our ACV is suitable for human and animal consumption. This item is labelled for human dosage, please see our animal section for the one labelled for animal use. All our apple cider vinegar is the same high quality and bottled under the requirements for human consumption, only the dose label is different.

1 capful 2-3 times daily. Add to a glass of water or fruit juice. Add lemon and honey if required.

Apple Cyder Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

1 cup ACV*

2 tbsp seeded Dijon mustard

1/2 tbsp curry powder

1/2 cup fresh chives, finely chopped

Juice of half a lemon (about 1/3 cup)

3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Mix first five ingredients together until well blended. Slowly add olive oil, whisking continuously to emulsify. That’s it! This is a great base, but feel free to add or adjust ingredients to your preference.

Super Juice

Ingredients:

2 cups water

1/2 cup ACV*

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 cup raw grape juice

1 tsp raw honey

1/2 tsp cinnamon

In a pitcher or large jar, mix all ingredients until well-combined. You can adjust measurements to your preference (or swap out the juice for another flavour — raw apple/pear works well, too!), but to get the benefit of ACV, make sure you’re at least getting 1 tbsp per serving. We like to serve this over tons of ice.

Root Vegetable Soup.

Ingredients:

2 large carrots

2 parsnips

1 sweet potato

1 large beet

1 medium red onion, diced

1/2 cup ACV*

Olive oil for sautéing

6-8 cups of water, as needed

Salt to taste

Wash all vegetables and cut them into large chunky bites (about 1/2 thick).

In a large pot, saute onion until translucent and fragrant.

Add vegetables one batch at a time, stirring to coat with onions and olive oil.

Cover the vegetables with water until fully submerged. Bring to a simmer and leave until the vegetables are just tender enough to bite.

Remove from heat and stir in apple cyder vinegar (and salt, if using).
